The proof is in the pudding

The proof of the pudding is not just in the eating, it is in the pudding itself. Flying Colours Investments have found success where our clients' returns have consistently out-performed our peers over the past five years.

In 2016, Flying Colours conducted a research project to look at actual investor returns over a 15-year period. The research analysed the performance of 5,763 funds from 1st January 2001 to 31st December 2015 to understand the actual returns on investment. We found that, on average, UK investors were experiencing a shortfall of 2.1% per year due to a combination of fees and poor investment decisions, resulting in a reduction in capital growth of 35% over the 15-year period. Inspired by this, we designed an investment approach that seeks to remove the mistakes we identified, and added techniques that we know from experience will help to deliver returns that our clients need.
